IMPORTANT: Most documents require one or two witnesses in addition to the notary and this can be by far the most difficult part of coordinating the appointment.

Facilities like ChristianaCare's usually disallow their staff from serving as witnesses and it absolutely cannot be a relative or other party of interest.  

Visitors to other patients nearby or in the same room are often willing and able to serve as witness if you have trouble finding eligible witnesses of your own.
